Used to support 6 inch pvc strainers or pvc pipe for dry hydrant installations in ponds, lakes, etc. Drive a 1 inch pvc pipe or steel rebar rod (not included) through the welded side tube into the pond bottom and secure support with included side screws. U shaped support is intended for 6 inch horizontal strainers to help prevent intake of bottom debris into the truck pump
