Reported side effects The side effects reported in trials and research protocols tend to be mild and transient: Common: Injection site reactions: redness, swelling, mild irritation at the injection location Headache: reported in some subjects, typically mild and temporary Mild gastrointestinal discomfort: occasional reports of nausea or upset stomach Less common: Temporary dizziness Slight increases in heart rate Minor liver enzyme elevations in some subjects These effects, when they occur, generally resolve without intervention and don't require discontinuation
